Our Homes Board of Directors Community Outreach Employment Opportunities

Resources

This page is dedicated to the many individuals and organizations that serve our residents. Some of them are active volunteers and others are financial donors. We wish to honor each of them and thank them for increasing our residents' quailty of life. We would also like to provide you with some resources. This page has two sections. Section 1 are resources for you and section 2 are resources ASH would like to thank for their help and support.

People, businesses, and organizations that support ASH:

  • Donny Roze
Thank you Donny Roze for your uplifting music and generosity of spirit toward our incredible residents, they so enjoy your visits, music, and engagement!

  • Donations from Farms at the Ashland Farmers’ Market
Ashland Supportive Housing thanks the local farming businesses who offer ASH donated produce boxes after Ashland’s Tuesday Farmers’ Market.  The produce in those boxes allow ASH to give our residents locally grown, organic produce.  The generosity of these farms has enhanced the quality of life, meals, and health of our residents. In the spirit of generosity, each ASH house will sort through these donations, and when there is excess we bring what we can’t use to the Ashland Food Bank.

  • Thank you to the following farms who gave to Ashland Supportive Housing in 2009:
    Barking Moon Farm
    Bigham Farms
    Blue Fox Farm
    Fry Family Farm
    Horsecreek Biodynamic Farm
    Joshua Farm
    Kurth Family Farm
    Marble View
    Meadowlark Family Farm
    Neighborhood Harvest
    New Sammy’s Cowboy Bakery
    Nolte Family Farm
    Runnymead Farm
    Village Farms Project
    Whistling Duck Farm
    Wild Bee Honey Farm Gardens

  • Ashland Food Bank
Thank you Ashland Food Bank for collaborating with ASH to receive what we can offer from our Farmers’ Market donations.

  • Ashland Food Co-op
Thank you Ashland Food Co-op for meeting our unique request with your grant funds.  The Ashland Food Co-op granted Ashland Supportive Housing $1,500 for cooking and nutrition education for staff.  This will help staff to better prepare the wonderful produce donations we receive from the Farmers’ Market and it will help staff tailor their house’s menu to each client’s health needs.

  • United Way
Thank you United Way for supplementing our funding that allows staff to participate in community activities with our residents.  This one-on-one and group activity time in the community fosters personal relationships between staff and residents and between housemates.  It also allows our residents to experience Ashland with the support that they need.
  • Minute Market
ASH would like to thank all the staff at the Minute Market on the North end of Ashland.  The team at the Minute Market always gives our residents a very warm welcome every time they come into the store.  Thank you for enhancing our residents’ quality of life with your warm, positive attitudes and humor.
  • The Flat Top
Thank you Mike and Terri Diaz, of The Flat Top, for always welcoming our clients to your practice and using your talent for hair care to keep them in style.

  • Big Al’s
Thank you for the great service, great burgers, and always welcoming ASH staff and clients to your place of business.

  • Recology Ashland Sanitary Service
Thank you for including one of our residents in your recycling program!  It is a wonderful way for him to do what he loves while helping the community.
